There's no place like home for the Enterprise Wolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Sports Leadership & Management by a score of 70-60 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Enterprise was led to victory by Dax Hunt and Treyson Whitman. Hunt scored 18 points along with seven rebounds, while Whitman dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Whitman's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Brady Crouch was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists.
Despite the loss, Sports Leadership & Management still got an impressive performance from Andre Cade, who scored 26 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Cade scored a full 43.3% of Sports Leadership & Management's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Paulson, who scored 14 points.
Even though they lost, Sports Leadership & Management were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Enterprise only racked up 20 assists.
Enterprise's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Enterprise and Somerset Sky Pointe will round out the year against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Somerset Sky Pointe is ranked 78th in Nevada, while Enterprise is ranked 64th in Utah). Sports Leadership & Management and Moapa Valley will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Moapa Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three matches.
