When it comes to explaining why Cottonwood Classical Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaedon Petties. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with seven rebounds.
Tyler Kozlowski continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Valley, scoring 18 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Bryan Flores, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Cottonwood Classical Prep dropped their record down to 4-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
