The Collins Tigers waltzed into their contest Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They blew past Mize 77-43 at home. Collins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Jaylen Willingham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 22 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Those ten assists set a new season-high mark for him. Latreyveon Lowe was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Collins pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Mize, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
Collins' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Heidelberg at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Mize, they will head out on the road to face off against North Forrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
