San Saba has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Harper Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harper took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on San Saba, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, San Saba strolled past Center Point with points to spare, taking the game 48-31.
Meanwhile, Harper's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 71-30 loss at the hands of Johnson City. Harper has struggled against Johnson City recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
San Saba's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Harper, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-19.
Everything came up roses for San Saba against Harper in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Saba since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
