Chiefland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyasia Bivins led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Bivins has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Laila Ingram , who scored 12 points along with 6 steals.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 3-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Dunnellon have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Chiefland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.5 per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
