After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University School of Jackson, the Fayette Academy Vikings were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carroll Academy 52-14 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.
Fayette Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Logan out in front who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals. Hannah Craig was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Fayette Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Carroll Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Fayette Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Trinity Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. Carroll Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on February 5th. Tipton-Rosemark Academy is on an eight-game streak of home losses, the Jaguars an 18-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
