There's no place like home for the Canton Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They snuck past Sullivan County with a 51-45 victory on Monday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Canton has managed all season.
Canton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayden Vroman out in front who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Fitch, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Canton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Sullivan County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Canton will head out on the road to face off against North Penn-Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully North Penn-Liberty focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. Sullivan County will be home for the holidays to greet Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
