The Wynot Blue Devils extended their postseason success on Friday against the Howells-Dodge Jaguars. They walked away with a 22-14 victory over the Jaguars. Wynot's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wynot to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Heine, who rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 158 yards and a touchdown. Wynot also got help from Carson Wieseler who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.
Despite the loss, Howells-Dodge still got an impressive performance from Hunter Luther, who rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Wynot's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Howells-Dodge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Wynot will face off against Sandhills/Thedford at 2:45 p.m. on November 20th. Sandhills/Thedford has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 641 points over their last 12 matchups. Howells-Dodge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
