St. Joseph extended their winning streak  to three  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 16-3 in the process. They were the clear victors by  a  15-5 margin over the Martin Luther Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won nine games by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Peter Visconti was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games he's  played.  Dominic Santarelli was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with four  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Joseph  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Martin Luther only managed five  hits.
As for Martin Luther, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record  this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 On Martin Luther's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brendan Scheel, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Joseph beat the Spartans by a score of  24-10 on Thursday.
