It was a good run, but The East Bay Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of Berkeley Prep. While losing is never fun, East Bay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Berkeley Prep is ranked 56th).
Berkeley Prep can attribute much of their success to Joseph Troupe, who rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
East Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Berkeley Prep, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
East Bay will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bloomingdale at 7:30 p.m. Berkeley Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
