Baseball Recap: Thunderbird Has No Trouble Against Dysart

Thunderbird barely beat Dysart the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Thunderbird Titans' way against the Dysart Demons on Thursday as the Thunderbird Titans made off with an 11-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Evan Kolesar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Hunter Donathan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

Thunderbird always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dysart only posted an OBP of .304.

Thunderbird's record now sits at 4-2. As for Dysart, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Thunderbird will be playing in front of their home fans against Marcos de Niza at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Marcos de Niza is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Dysart, they are taking a road trip to take on Moon Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
