Africentric Early College had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They strolled past the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS with points to spare, taking the game 61-42. For the Nubians, this counts as revenge for the 81-68 victory the CARDINALS walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.

Africentric Early College's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Thomas Worthington, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Africentric Early College will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodward at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
