Despite the loss, Miller saw an underclassman step up: Hailey Martinez scored 19 points. Martinez scored a full 42.2% of Miller's points, the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Julissa Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Miller, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
