Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonas Merxbauer, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Sunnybrook Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Minica out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 25 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christian Huber, who scored 27 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Founders Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
Founders Classical Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Vanguard Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
