The Neuse Christian Academy Lions won the last time they faced the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Neuse Christian Academy strolled past Thales Academy Rolesville with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.
Neuse Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Little, who scored 14 points. Natalie Little was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten blocks and nine rebounds.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camille Foster, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Hudson, who scored ten points.
The win got Neuse Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neuse Christian Academy and St. Thomas More Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. St. Thomas More Academy's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Neuse Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they will head out on the road to challenge Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Friendship Christian has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
