Sarah Godwin was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with 9 steals and 7 rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Claire Stengl, who scored 4 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds.
Franklin Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oxford Prep, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Academy will challenge Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Chatham Charter will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Oxford Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against East Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Wake Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
