Whitehall-Yearling won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rams came out on top against the 76ers by a score of 49-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Independence's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darren White-Tyler, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Abdoulaye Ndongo, who posted seven points and ten rebounds.

Whitehall-Yearling's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Independence, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
