Softball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Hanson's 13th in Last 16 Outings

Seven must be Hanson's lucky number: they beat Winner with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Beavers beat the Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-1. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Hanson is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Winner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Hanson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Colome on the 23rd. Hopefully Winner paid attention to the Beavers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Beavers on Friday.
