A fight between a high school girls basketball coach and 15-year-old boy in Indianapolis was captured by a cell phone video camera.
According to Kent Erdahl of Fox 59 WXIN, the coach has been suspended without pay and stands accused of biting the victim.
The video, which can be
seen here, shows Manual High School (Indianapolis) head girls basketball coach Trevor Borom trading blows with Stefan Caldwell. According to Erdahl, Borom arrived unannounced to the home of a female classmate to discuss grades and her role on the team.
Following a verbal dispute, the two relocated to the front yard and began to tussle. According to Caldwell, Borom bit him in the face shortly after the camera stopped rolling.
"He just started biting my face, and then I pushed him off and then he just got to punching me," Caldwell told Fox 59 WXIN. "Then when I got up he ran to the car and drove off."
According to Erdahl, an Indianapolis Public Schools spokesperson confirmed that the coach has been suspended without pay pending results of the investigation. The Indianapolis Police Department is also investigating the incident.
