Meadow scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellman-Union Wildcats. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 51-27.

Meadow's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Wellman-Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadow will head out to square off against Anton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellman-Union, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitharral will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Wellman-Union surely won't give up without a fight.
