Antonio Washington Turns in Season-Best Performance
Antonio Washington produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bell to the win on Friday. Washington rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
McKinley Tech had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Washington it was a similar story. When Washington last faced the Trainers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

For the year, Butler has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 24.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.4 rushing yards per game.
