Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bellevue Christian beat Chimacum 28-22 last Friday. No one put up better numbers for Bellevue Christian than senior Mick Larsen, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 12 tackles Larsen was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for LaConner, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-48 to Friday Harbor.
Bellevue Christian's victory lifted them to 4-3 while LaConner's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Bellevue Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if LaConner can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Bellevue Christian's step.
