The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Trinity Leadership Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Scurry-Rosser sitting on three straight victories and Trinity Leadership on six.
Scurry-Rosser is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Inspired Vision 64-0 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Eli Hutchins was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 61 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Landon Draper was in the mix too, providing Scurry-Rosser with two scores.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Draper, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Trinity Leadership was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Rice 50-16. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 34 points or more this season.
Scurry-Rosser better keep an eye on Alvin Sims. He was instrumental in Trinity Leadership's win, rushing for 229 yards while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Sims is now averaging an impressive 101.2 rushing yards per game.
Trinity Leadership was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Trinity Leadership's record is now 6-2. As for Scurry-Rosser, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-5.
Scurry-Rosser skirted past Trinity Leadership 15-12 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
