West Shore Christian Academy lost against York Country Day back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. West Shore Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to York Country Day.
York Country Day found their leader in underclassman Ryan Maus, who scored 27 points. The match was Maus' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah White, who scored 13 points.
West Shore Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for York Country Day, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
West Shore Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mount Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Mount Calvary Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for York Country Day, they will head out on the road to face off against Susquenita at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
