The Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. The match between Livingston Collegiate Academy and St. Katharine Drexel wasn't particularly close, with Livingston Collegiate Academy falling 41-23.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Katharine Drexel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caitlin Smith, who dropped a double-double on 19 rebounds and 12 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquel Angrum, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.
Livingston Collegiate Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Katharine Drexel, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing GEO Next Generation the next time they take the court. St. Katharine Drexel will host GEO Next Generation at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Livingston Collegiate Academy will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
