Coahoma County secured a 60-54 W over North Panola on Saturday. This was payback for Coahoma County, who suffered a 54-53 loss the last time these two teams met.
Coahoma County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Hearns out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Hearns is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerasmus Eagins, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Coahoma County is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for North Panola, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coahoma County's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Holly Springs at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
