While losing is never fun, Mount Juliet Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Commanders are ranked 72nd).
Mount Juliet Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Greeir Goddard-hammond, who scored six points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hezekiah Amick, who scored five points.
Mount Juliet Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Friendship Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Juliet Christian Academy will challenge the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
