Chicago Christian extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 18-9 in the process. They never let the Calumet Christian Patriots get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Josh Sedakis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was RJ Alexander Harris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Chicago Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calumet Christian only posted an OBP of .353.

As for Calumet Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. The shutout was out of character for they seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

On Calumet Christian's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Thursby, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Coming up, Chicago Christian will challenge South Bend Riley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Calumet Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kouts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
