The Alcester-Hudson Cubs's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They snuck past Andes Central/Dakota Christian with a 37-31 win.
It was another big night for Dominic Van egdom, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Kleinhans, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Alcester-Hudson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Alcester-Hudson will be playing at home against the Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Nighthawks at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Tripp-Delmont/Armour will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
