On Tuesday, the St. Dominic Crusaders were out to avenge their 69-41 defeat to the Parkway North Vikings from their previous meeting last February, but they had no such luck. The game between them was not particularly close, with St. Dominic falling 43-30. That's the fewest points they have scored all season.
The Crusaders' overall record fell to 8-11. The victory was the third in a row for Parkway North and raised their record to 16-6.
The Crusaders are on the road again on Monday and play against Ursuline Academy. St. Dominic isn't the favorite to win, but, of course, any team can defy the odds on the right day. Parkway North will stay at home against Kirkwood Friday. Kirkwood is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 52-32 win over Hazelwood West last Friday.
