It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Gilbert Tigers can now relate to. They suffered a tough 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Toros on Thursday. Sadly, the result was nothing new as Gilbert, who hasn't won a game since January 19th.
Gilbert now has a losing record at 8-9-1. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4-3 record this season.
Gilbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to challenge Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Mountain View sitting on six straight victories and Tucson High Magnet School on ten.
