After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dickinson, the Clear Lake Falcons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They secured a 50-46 W over Clear Falls. That's another feather in the cap for Clear Lake, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clear Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kirsten Lippold, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jazmine Klausmeier, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Clear Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season. As for Clear Falls, they dropped their record down to 12-18 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Clear Lake will face off against the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brazoswood has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28. Clear Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
