The Bishop Brossart Mustangs will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Highlands Bluebirds at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Bishop Brossart will be strutting in after a victory while the Bluebirds will be coming in after a loss.
Even though St. Henry scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Bishop Brossart still came out on top. Bishop Brossart took their game against the Crusaders 65-55.
Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Highlands' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 59-36 loss at the hands of Ryle. Highlands has not had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Bishop Brossart's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 14-6.
Bishop Brossart couldn't quite finish off the Bluebirds in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 and fell 46-43. Can Bishop Brossart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
