McCutcheon's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over the Anderson Indians. The victory continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

McCutcheon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Brigham, who rushed for 101 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Brigham a new career-high. Landon Vandergoltz was another major influence, as he rushed for 100 yards and ran in a TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: McCutcheon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The victory got McCutcheon back to even at 2-2. As for Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

McCutcheon and Anderson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Mavericks are set to square off against their familiar foe Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Anderson will challenge rival Kokomo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
