Rusk is 0-6 against the Panthers since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Rusk Eagles will look to defend their home court  against the Bullard Panthers at 6:15  p.m. Rusk is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home.
 Even though Rusk has not done well against the Hornets recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Rusk came out on top against the Hornets by a score of  52-39.
 Rusk found their leader in underclassman  JoHannah McDonald, who  scored 17 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  McDonald has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Jakaiyah Jenkins, who  scored eight points along with 15  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Bullard has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to Madisonville at home  by a decisive  58-42 margin on Friday. Bullard has struggled against the Mustangs recently, as their  matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Rusk's victory  ended a 14-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 8-22. As for Bullard, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.
 Things could have been worse for Rusk, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a  57-42 loss to the Panthers in their previous matchup  back in January.
