If Wenonah was feeling good fresh off their 74-54 takedown of Jackson-Olin last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wenonah Dragons took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors on Friday. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead KIPP Atlanta Collegiate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chane Bynum, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Bynum is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Akil Robinson was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points.

Wenonah's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Wenonah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-67 victory against Mount Paran Christian on the 28th. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate has also already played their next match, a 67-60 loss against Douglass on the 28th.
