The Fredericksburg Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Seton 69-17. Fredericksburg Christian has struggled against Seton recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Fredericksburg Christian had strong showings from Amri Donado, who scored 11 points along with four steals, and Claire Steele, who scored three points.
Fredericksburg Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Seton, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.
Fredericksburg Christian will be playing at home against Immanuel Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Fredericksburg Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday. As for Seton, they and The Covenant will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The Covenant is on a six-game streak of home wins, Seton a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
