Despite their defeat, Propel Braddock Hills saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kato Hill, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Hill set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was Jarell Santiago , who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Propel Braddock Hills were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Monessen had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They strolled past Westinghouse with points to spare, taking the game 65-46.
Propel Braddock Hills has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Monessen, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
