King Academy and Wardlaw Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the King Academy Knights will get right back to it and host the Wardlaw Academy Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on January 26th.
On Thursday, King Academy came up short against Oconee Christian Academy and fell 42-35.
Wardlaw Academy posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Our Lady of the Rosary 42-40. The victory was just what Wardlaw Academy needed coming off of a 86-42 defeat in their prior match.
King Academy dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Wardlaw Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.
