The Lehi Pioneers proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 23) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against American Fork and snuck past 52-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lehi.
Addy Scrivner continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Hill, who scored nine points.
Lehi has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for American Fork, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Lehi will be playing at home against the Thunder at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for American Fork, they will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Grove has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
