On Friday, the Pacific Grove Breakers kept a clean sheet against the St. Francis Sharks. They skirted past the Sharks 1-0. Pacific Grove wouldn't have won without Steven Ramirez, who scored the game-winner.
Pacific Grove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1.
Pacific Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Francis, they will be playing at home against Anzar at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Francis is coming into the matchup with eight straight defeats at home, meaning Anzar will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
