Tazewell hadn't done well against Virginia High recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past the Bearcats 4-1. Tazewell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Justin Thomas and Logan McDonald scored all four of Tazewell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Tazewell's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Virginia High, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
