Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ty'Teionna Jones, who  posted nine  points. Jones is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as she's  posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's  played.  Aamoni Posley also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  block of the season.
 Even though they lost, Telfair County  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 26 consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilcox County to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Shamauri Martin, who  had 26 points in addition to eight  rebounds and four  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Martin has scored at least a third of Wilcox County's points.  Zariah Martin was another key player,  going 5-for-10  en route to 16  points and six  boards.
Telfair County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Wilcox County, their victory was  their 27th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 23-1.
 Telfair County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  67-63  win against Metter on the 18th. As for Wilcox County, they have also  already played their next matchup,  a  61-44  victory against Portal on the 18th.
