That's another feather in the cap for Roanoke Valley Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Roanoke Valley Christian can attribute much of their success to Logan Gutierrez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Chou, who scored 15 points.
Despite the loss, Westover Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Keeley Bettendorf, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Matthew Witcher was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Roanoke Valley Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Westover Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Roanoke Valley Christian will head out on the road to face off against Eastern Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Montgomery is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Westover Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against King's Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. King's Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
