Meanwhile, Del Norte sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  win over San Marcos  on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Nighthawks have posted  against the Knights since May 10, 2022.

 San Pasqual's  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-7. As for Del Norte, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1.
 San Pasqual couldn't quite finish off Del Norte in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024 and fell  2-0. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
