Parker and Stanton are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Braves will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Parker will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Raines, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Braves put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 20-10 win on Thursday. The Braves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ashleigh McDaniels made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. McDaniels was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Parker got a massive performance out of Jahari Gendive-Thomas, who went 4-for-6 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Gendive-Thomas also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Mia Betancourt was another key player, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Stanton made easy work of Harvest Community on Monday and carried off an 11-4 victory. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Like Parker, Stanton also got a great game from a two-way player: Marissa Joseph. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Joseph has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Emmalyn Gensch was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Adriana Kendrick, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.
Stanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The win made it two in a row for Parker and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Stanton, their record now sits at 5-2.
Parker suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to Stanton in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
