 Pocahontas County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. It was the first time this season that  Vandevander  pulled down eight or more  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wyatt Hendrick, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 12  rebounds.
 Bath County's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Pocahontas County, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-15.
 Bath County will head out on the road to  challenge  Highland at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Pocahontas County, they will  square off against Richwood at 7:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Pocahontas County is coming into the  matchup with eight straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Richwood will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
