The Roosevelt Roughriders waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They came out on top against Lakeside by a score of 58-47. Given Roosevelt's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Lakeside is ranked 233rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Dollar, who scored 15 points. Dollar has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Washington, who scored 12 points.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Lakeside, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14.
Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lakeside also has no future games currently scheduled.
