Cheyenne was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Canyon Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Cheyenne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Canyon Springs, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Cheyenne will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Legacy is ranked 54th, while Cheyenne is ranked 69th). As for Canyon Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Somerset Academy Losee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Somerset Academy Losee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday.
