The struggle was real when IKM/Manning and Underwood clashed on Friday, but the former ultimately edged out the latter 28-26. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as IKM/Manning are ranked 139 places ahead of Underwood in the state rankings. The game pushed Underwood down to 0-2 and pulled IKM/Manning up to the reverse 2-0.
Next week, IKM/Manning take on South Central Calhoun at 7:00 PM. IKM/Manning continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight contest. As for Underwood, they will face off against Lincoln Central.
